WELCOME TO THE FLEMINGTON ASSOCIATION HOME PAGE

The Flemington Association gives the community of Flemington and Travancore a voice in local issues.
Flemington, Travancore and Newmarket are located in the inner north west of Melbourne, only 5 kilometres from the centre of Melbourne.
This web site has been established to provide the community with access to information on issues affecting local residents.

NEXT MEETING

The next meeting of the Flemington Association will be held on Tuesday 10 August 2010 at the Flemington Community House, 28 Farnham Street Flemington following the AGM at 7:30pm.  Everyone is welcome.  Our following meeting will be held on 14 September 2010.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Tuesday 10 August 2010 at the Flemington Community House, 28 Farnham Street Flemington at 7:30pm.

A member intending to bring any business before the AGM must notify in writing, or by email, the Secretary of that business, at least 14 days before 10 August 2010.  The Secretary must include that business in the notice calling the next general meeting.

At the AGM members will elect the Committee of Management consisting of:

Nomination forms can be down loaded.  Details of nominating for the committee can be found on the nomination form or in the Rules of the Association.

Nominations forms must be delivered to the Secretary not less than 7 days before the AGM.  Completed forms can be sent by post or scanned copies emailed.   

A member is not entitled to vote at a general meeting unless all moneys due and payable by the member to the Association have been paid.

RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP

Flemington Association relies on memberships fees. Membership fees remain the same as previously, i.e. $15 per member and $5 for additional people at the same address.
Subscriptions can be paid by cash by attending our meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at the Farnham Street Neighbourhood Learning Centre at 7.30 pm or by cheque made payable to:

MOONEE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL SUBMISSIONS
