Where is Flemington

Flemington is a suburb in the inner north west of Melbourne.  It is an established residential area with some commercial areas along Racecourse Road and around the Newmarket Railway Station. Flemington, which includes Newmarket, Flemington Hill and Travancore, is bounded by Ascot Vale Road, Kent Street, Mount Alexander Road and Baroda Street in the north; Moonee Ponds Creek in the east; the Upfield railway line and Racecourse Road in the south; and Epsom Road and the Flemington Racecourse Railway Line in the west.  Most of the suburb falls within the City of Moonee Valley, with parts of the suburb located in the City of Melbourne.
